Focusing on: EDUCATION and COMMUNITY Development.

Who We Are.
Daliso Foundation is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization founded in 2013 by Febby & Lameck Kaira.
The word DALISO means Blessing in Chewa (Zambian language). Zambia is in South Central Africa, where most of the children we assist reside.
Our programs focus on Educational Initiatives, Leadership Execution, and Community Partnerships to empower and support our communities in meeting their humanitarian needs.
Daliso Foundation's geographical areas of service are the United States of America (USA) and Zambia, Africa.

WHY WE VALUE EDUCATION.
Quality education is a chance that might give a child an opportunity to create a better and brighter future for themselves, their families, and their communities. However, for that chance to be possible, children need to be equipped with school supplies.
At the Daliso Foundation, we believe that achieving inclusive and high-quality education for all reaffirms the conviction that education is one of the most powerful and proven vehicles for sustainable development. We are empowering our YOUTH to see their WORTH.

Our Mission
Promote a better lifestyle for children, their families, and the community through education with emphasis on student success – (youth empowerment), and community development.

Our Purpose
Simply to give hope, inspire, and empower others. We desire to support students to reach within their God-given abilities and empower them to eliminate the word ‘impossible’ from pursuing their education to earn a better and brighter future.

Our Vision
Daliso Foundation’s vision is to help students prepare future.
Helping vulnerable students from low-income families in late middle and early high school until post-secondary completion and career launch prepare for their future by developing strategies to overcome barriers to post-secondary education completion. Increasing educational awareness and critical thinking through providing free and low-cost vocational leadership training, mentorship, and mental health coaching will meet this vision. We aim to cultivate the student’s confidence, leadership skills, effective relationship-building, purposeful goal setting, and performance to help them prepare for their career launch and future aspirations thereby eliminating the duplication of generational poverty.

Our Programs
1
Daliso School Support
Program Focus: SCHOOL SUPPLIES Donations
Our Impact: Since 2014, the Daliso Foundation has donated school supplies to underserved primary school children (grade 1 – grade 5) in the rural areas of Zambia through the “Project Pack-a-Bag” of school supplies initiative. We have helped 3,500 students in (6) five schools.

COMMUNITY
Development
Focus: Creating a Supportive Community & Better World through Community Partnerships and Service to the Community (Volunteering).
Daliso Foundation’s Community Development focuses on collaboration with community leaders of influence, groups, and organizations to mentor our youths and help contribute to achieving desired results. We are Better Together with Accountability and Community Partnerships.
It takes a village to raise a child! Together, we can be strong advocates to make sure underserved schools and vulnerable students are receiving support and assistance from the government or any other organization that matches the needs of the community and the educational institution.
